How much does polished concrete cost?

The price of polished concrete varies depending on the area size, condition of concrete slap, the level of grinding required, amount of aggregated exposure and sealer. We offer prices to suit your particular style and we can provide a no obligation quote!

Can an existing concrete slab be polished?

Absolutely! If your carpet, floorboards, etc are looking tired and old and you are considering  replacing them, why not look at polished concrete, as an alternate solution.   This overall look will provide your space with a new cutting-edge contemporary look with the luxury of low maintenance. The overall completed look will depend on the type of concrete slab and if any existing damage to the concrete floor.

Can you have polished concrete for outdoors?

Yes! We can do outdoor entertaining areas, walkways, pool surrounds, communal areas, driveways, carports, patios, etc. For outdoor areas, we usually ensure that the floors surface is non-slip.

Can I change the colour of my polished concrete floor?

Yes! Only if you are laying a new concrete slap.  There are a variety of different cement colours to choose from.

What is the grinding process?

We need to grind the surface to remove a layer of concrete, leaving the aggregate exposed to a smooth, matt, low maintenance finish.

Does the grinding process produce much dust?

We keep dust to a minimum by using modern technology of machines that have a vacuum system.  Although, due to the nature of this work there will be dust at the completion.

Why do you need to add a sealer?

The sealers are added to prevent staining and assists with cleaning the surface. It also provide the finish product look that you will be happy with for many years to come.
